All current 8th - 11th grade students and parents had an opportunity to attend Academic Night for secondary students on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 6 p,m. Information that was covered included alternative ways to earn high school credit, Recommended Graduation Plan, Texas First Diploma option, college dual credit options, career pathways, elective courses and current 8th graders will create a high school 4-Year plan. This event allowed for a face to face opportunity for parents and students to receive important high school information along with CISD staff being available to answer questions. If you were unable to attend, please contact someone in the office, and they can catch you up!
Track and golf season is off to a great start and continues. Golfers will compete in the district tournament in San Saba next Monday, March 30th. High school track will compete in Zephyr this Friday. High school UIL academic competition will be in Richland Springs.
Easter parties for elementary students are set for April 2nd beginning at 3:30. Prek-2 will hunt eggs on the blacktop while 3-5 will hunt eggs on the playscape. They will all eat at the picnic tables outside. We are looking forward to some fun!
