Mason & San Saba March 19, 2026 Receipts totaled 2,024 head for the week. Stocker steers were $10 to $15 higher with 5 steers 514 lbs at $530.00 ($2724.20) and 5 head 572 lbs at $510.00 ($2917.20). Stocker heifers were $12 to $15 higher with 8 head 589 lbs at $435.00 ($2562.15). Feeder steers and heifers were $5 to $10 higher. Packer cows were steady while packer bulls were $5 to $6 higher with the top packer bull 2255 lbs at $224.00 ($5051.20). Pairs and bred cows were $150 to $300 higher and in good demand given the recent rains with 36 first calf Angus pairs at $6000. The Knox Brothers 33 Angus bulls averaged $8930 with the top bull at $11,500, and 12 Hereford bulls averaged $8,083 with the top bull at $10,500.
