Salmos 31:19-24 DHH ¡Qué grande es tu bondad para aquellos que te honran! La guardas como un tesoro y, a la vista de los hombres, la repartes a quienes confían en ti. Con la protección de tu presencia los libras de los planes malvados del hombre; bajo tu techo los proteges de los insultos de sus enemigos. Bendito sea el Señor, que con su amor hizo grandes cosas por mí en momentos de angustia. En mi inquietud llegué a pensar que me habías echado de tu presencia; pero cuando te pedí ayuda, tú escuchaste mis gritos. Amen al Señor, todos sus fieles. El Señor cuida de los sinceros, pero a los altaneros les da con creces su merecido. Den ánimo y valor a sus corazones todos los que confían en el Señor.
2 Corintios 7:9-10 DHH ahora me alegro; no por la tristeza que les causó, sino porque esa tristeza los hizo volverse a Dios. Fue una tristeza según la voluntad de Dios, así que nosotros no les causamos ningún daño; pues la tristeza según la voluntad de Dios conduce a una conversión que da por resultado la salvación, y no hay nada que lamentar. Pero la tristeza del mundo produce la muerte.
Psalm 31:19-24 ERV Lord, you have hidden away many wonderful things for your followers. You have done so many good things for those who trust in you. You have blessed them so that all the world can see. Others make plans to hurt them. They say such bad things about them. But you hide your people in your shelter and protect them. Praise the Lord, because he showed me how wonderful his faithful love is when the city was surrounded by enemies. I was afraid and said, 'I am in a place where he cannot see me.' But I prayed to you, and you heard my loud cries for help.
Love the Lord, all of you who are his loyal followers. The Lord protects those who are loyal to him. But he punishes those who brag about their own power. He gives them all the punishment they deserve. Be strong and brave, all of you who are waiting for the Lord's help.
2 Corinthians 7:9-10 Now I am happy, not because you were made sad, but because your sorrow made you decide to change. That is what God wanted, so you were not hurt by us in any way. The kind of sorrow God wants makes people decide to change their lives. This leads them to salvation, and we cannot be sorry for that. But the kind of sorrow the world has will bring death.
