Ladies of the Pierian Study Club gathered Thursday, February 12, in the home of Marjean Alexander for their monthly meeting. Guests were served delicious Valentine theme sweets and treats served by hostesses Janis Murray, Karen Gill, Anna Wilson and Patsy Hall.
The theme for this month's meeting was ' Revive and Thrive'. The program was presented by Candi Lusty of Eudemonia Health and Wellness Clinic. She gave a very informative presentation of what all the services this innovative clinic provides. The ladies were full of questions and Candi gave a great explanation to everyone.
After the program, president Cissy Williams called the group to order for a business meeting. Ladies were reminded that yearly dues were due, as well as the time to make donations to one of our projects, The Dove Project. The group generously raised $1470.
The next meeting will be Thursday, March 12, at the San Saba Hotel. The program will be how to play Mahjong. Hope everyone can make it!
