Our Lady Indians advanced to the playoffs this year and took on Oglesby in Evant for the bidistrict round. It was a tight game with the Lady Indians winning with a final score of 36-33. We had a big showing in the stands at the area game versus Wells in Hearne. Cherokee fought hard with a back-and-forth game. The two teams were tied up at halftime and after the 3rd period. However, they ended the game a little short, ending their season. In other sports news, track season starts this week and the boys’basketball team begins their playoff run. Good luck to our Indians!
We do have school this Friday to make up for the days missed for bad weather. We will dismiss at 12:30. Report cards went home last week so make sure you have seen your student’s grades. Other important dates of note are March 16-20 which is Spring Break.
