Receipts totaled 6,590 head. The market continued an upward trend that started last week with good demand and activity across all classes of cattle. The stocker steers sold $15-$25 higher and in some instances $40 higher with 12 steers 568 lbs at $432.00 ($2453.76) and 5 steers 440 lbs at $530.00 ($2332.00). The stocker heifers were $10-$20 higher and in some instances $30 higher with 33 heifers 396 lbs at $530.00 ($2098.80) and 3 heifers 457 lbs at $ 485.00 ($ 2216.45). The feeder steers were $10$20 higher with 19 steers 782 lbs at $347.00 ($2713.50) and 5 steers 728 lbs at $366.00 ($2664.48). The feeder heifers were steady to some instances $20 higher with 10 heifers 729 lbs at $346.00 ($2522.34). The packer cows and bulls were steady. Pairs and bred cows were higher and in very good demand.
