Cindy Prater was in her office at San Saba Realty on Wallace Street this past weekend when she heard a voice on a loud speaker telling everyone to 'get away from the pumps!'
When she went outside to see what was happening, she saw a car on fire across the street at the middle pumps at Stripes. She saw a Sheriff's truck positioning behind the car that was on fire. He pushed the car away from the pumps and out in the street.
She then saw a bunch of folks rushing to the car with fire extinguishers to start putting out the fire.
I reached out to the Sheriff's office for comment. They did say they assisted in the call, but that information would have to come from the Police Department since it was in the City.
