Mid cycle has hit here at Cherokee ISD, so you will be receiving progress reports this week. Please be on the lookout for those. Progress reports can be a valuable tool in monitoring your student's progress. It can be a good communication starter with your student and/ or their teachers.
Over the weekend, our high school football team traveled some distance to play in the Jayton classic. They played against Knox City and came out on top with a final score of 62-30. This Thursday, the 4th, our Indians will take on Leakey in a home game. The JV will play at 5:30 followed by varsity at 7:30. There will also be a cross country meet in Zephyr for both junior high and high school on the 3rd.
We also have some ways to get involved with our school. We will have a school board meeting on the 8th at 5:15 and then a PTC meeting a 4:45 on the 9th. We would love to have more parents present at PTC meetings, so make every effort to attend. Thank you in advance for your interest and service.
