Mariachi Ilusión to Perform in San Saba - September 14 at Risien Park

This community has and is experiencing so much due to the recent floods, but it is time to unwind and celebrate our blessings. So are you ready?

Several San Saba local businesses have made it possible to bring some awesome entertainment to the San Saba Community. In conjunction with St. Mary’s annual fundraiser, known as the Jamica and/or the Diez y Seis de Septiembre, sponsors have facilitated a free show for you.

You are invited to join the festivities and enjoy a spectacular show of musical artists, dancers, the payaso, and los mariachi. Grab your chairs and come out for a day of fun and relaxation.

Mariachi Ilusión, from Belton, Texas, travels all around the Central Texas area performing at special events, parties, and family celebrations and are coming to San Saba for St. Mary’s Festival. Be sure not to miss them.

The festival gates open at 11 and activities will start at noon. Local talent will kick off the festival, then the folkloric dancers present their traditional performances, followed by a show for the young and old demonstrated by the payaso (clown), then a car show for an opportunity to view a variety of cars, and then a couple of hours of Mariachi music and performance by Mariachi Ilusión. You may come and stay a while or all day as the performances will be continuous throughout the day. After the entertainment, the winners of the raffle will be selected to conclude the festivities.

While enjoying the entertainment, you may like to visit the fundraising booths. Gorditas, Mexican Enchiladas, Street Tacos, Chicharrónes, Mini Pancakes, Roasted Corn and other food booths will be available for purchase. (Such as other satisfying treats such as a funnel cake, a snow cone, or just a cold soda.) Feeling lucky? Then the games, the silent auction or the raffle may be your thing. Please do not miss this opportunity to enjoy some great entertainment brought to you by your local, small business donations.

See you at Risien Park, San Saba, Texas, on Sunday, September 14.
