Last week, our high school Cherokee Indians football team had a scrimmage in Rising Star, getting some good practice under their belts to prep for the season. This week, they will play in another scrimmage at home against Zephyr. This was originally scheduled for Friday but HAS BEEN MOVED to Thursday at 6 p.m. Please take note of this change. There will also be a cross country meet for high school girls in Belton on Friday.
Our classes are well under way now, and students should be settling into their new schedules and coursework. This week marks the mid point of cycle 1, so progress reports will be sent out next week.
Remember, no school on Labor Day, September 1st.
