Receipts totaled 4,007 head. The cash market continued to move higher even with the futures market moving downward some. The demand was very strong for all classes of cattle as our number of cows in the country hits a record low therefore less calves being raised. The stocker steers were $8-$12 higher with 4 steers 476 lbs at $435.00 ($2070.60) and 3 steers 583 lbs at $400.00 ($2332.00). The stocker heifers were $8-$10 higher. The feeder steers were $5-$8 higher with 27 steers 767 lbs at $340.00 ($2607.80). The feeder heifers were $4-$5 higher. Packer cows and bulls were steady. Pairs and bred cows were higher on a very active market.
