One of our local electric provider, ONCOR, is currently conducting drone operations throughout the county to inspect power lines and utility infrastructure. These inspections are part of routine maintenance and storm recovery efforts to ensure the safety and reliability of the electrical grid.
What to Expect:
• Drones flying at low altitudes over ONCOR easements and rights-of-way
• Activity near power poles, substations, and transmission lines
• Operations may occur in both rural and residential areas
When:
• Drone flights will take place throughout the week, weather permitting.
• Please do not interfere with drone crews or equipment.
