Receipts totaled 1,377 head which were reduced due to the abundant rainfall that was received around our area. The market compared to two weeks ago (no sales last week due to July 4th Holiday) on the stocker steers were $5 to some instances $15 higher with 10 steers 539 lbs at $396.00 ($2134.44) and 2 steers 325 lbs at $535.00 ($1738.75). The stocker heifers were steady to $2-$5 higher with 11 heifers 503 lbs at $369.00 ($1856.07). The feeder steers were $5 higher with 13 steers 670 lbs at $355.00 ($2378.50) and16 steers 816 lbs at $314.00 ($2562.24). The packer cows and bulls were steady. Pairs and bred cows were steady on a limited test.
