Receipts totaled 2,026 head for the week. The demand continued to be very good this entire week on all classes of cattle. The stocker steers were $2-$5 higher with 2 steers 500 lbs at $412.00 ($2060.00) and 32 head at 623 lbs at $341.00 ($2124.43). The stocker heifers were steady except for the lighter weights were $4-$5 higher. The feeder steers were steady with 59 head weighing 737 lbs $307.00 ($2262.59) and 16 head at 832 lbs $290.00 ($2412.80). The feeder heifers were steady with 15 head 808 lbs $298.00 ($2407.84). The packer cows were $2 higher and bulls were steady. Pairs and bred cows were steady with very good activity. There will be no sales the week of July 4th in Mason or San Saba.
