45th Annual Toughest 10K in Texas Set for July 12, 2025

Also Featuring 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run

The Lampasas County Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center is proud to announce the return of a Texas racing tradition—the 45th Annual Toughest 10K in Texas, taking place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, taking place during the Annual Lampasas Spring Ho Festival. This year's race promises to be bigger, bolder, and hillier than ever!

Widely recognized as one of the most challenging racecourses in Central Texas, the Toughest 10K in Texas attracts runners from across the country who are eager to tackle the rolling terrain and scenic views of Lampasas. The race is part of the Centex Race Series and is open to runners of all levels and ages.

In addition to the 10K, the event will also feature a 5K and a 1-Mile Fun Run, making it an inclusive experience for the whole family. All races begin at 7:00 a.m. at Lampasas Middle School (902 S. Broad St.), with both the start and finish lines at this central location.

Race Day Highlights Include: 

• Professionally timed and scored races

• Medals awarded in multiple age categories

• A commemorative shirt to those who register before June 26th

• Community cheer zones and water stations

• Points awarded as part of the Centex Race Series 2025 race schedule

• Post-race celebrations and festivities 

Packet Pick-Up: 

Participants can pick up their race packets on Friday, July 11, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at the Lampasas County Chamber of Commerce.
