Receipts totaled 2,117 head. The market continued to be very strong this week with stocker steers selling steady with 9 steers 578 lbs at $344.00 ($1988.32). Stocker heifers were steady to $5 higher with 8 heifers 538 lbs at $351.00 ($1888.38). The feeder steers were $5-$10 higher with 4 steers 695 lbs at $328.00 ($2276.32). The feeder heifers were $4-$6 higher with 8 heifers 693 lbs at $285.00 ($1975.05). The packer cows and bulls were steady. The Knox Brothers 22 Hereford bulls avg $7000 with the top bull at $8500 and the 34 Angus bulls avg $6787 with the top bull at $9250.
