Past years have been a blast, so we’re doing it again. Summer temps and cool brews pair well for this regional craft beer festival. Make plans to join us. The Fredericksburg Craft Beer Festival, sponsored by the Fredericksburg Rotary Club, will combine this German settlement town’s history with its love of big events and great beer.
Friday, June 13, from 4-10 p.m. is our Tour, Dinner and Competition Awards Ceremony at Altstadt Brewery. The tickets are $100 per person and include Happy Hour, Brewery Tours (two tours), Awards Ceremony, Dinner, Kick Off Party & Dance (outside on the plaza) and Fireworks. (Limited Friday evening tickets available.)
The Festival is Saturday, June 14 from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday tickets for general admission are $20 in advance (www.fbgcraftbeerfestival. com) or available at the gate for $25. Tickets include three (3) three oz sample craft beer tastings, Festival souvenir tasting glass (while supplies last), lively music, food court, corn hole and lots more Texas fun with fellow craft beer aficionados.
On Saturday, sample dozens of Texas craft beers—including pours from Fredericksburg’s own Altstadt Brewery, Vista Brewing, Prost Alehouse, Deep Ellum, Community Beer, Karbach, Martin House, Real Ale, St. Arnold, Wild Acre Brewery, Austin Eastciders, Four Corners Brewing, Shiner, Independence, Revolver Brewing, Rahr & Sons, Real Ale Brewing Co. and more. For those who prefer Texas wine, joining us is Texas Wine Collective serving local wine and cider.
The festival also continues Fredericksburg’s spirit of a good time with a diverse music selection that is the perfect soundtrack to an afternoon of tasting craft brews. Several Texas food concessionaires will be on-site serving up their delicacies. There will be festival favorites such as smoked sausage, funnel cakes, chicken quesadillas, mini tacos with carne asada, corn in a cup, wood-fired pizza, lemonade, tea, water, and more.
Festival profits from past years have benefited the Grace Center, a domestic violence shelter, the Good Samaritan Center, which helps the area’s underprivileged with medical and dental needs, and the Hill Country Community Needs Council. In 2025, we chose Frontera Healthcare as the beneficiary. Frontera provides quality, accessible care to all. Frontera Healthcare takes a “whole person” approach to care, regardless of your ability to pay. This is all in addition to providing general support to other established Rotary programs.
