Troy D. Johnson, aged 75, peacefully passed March 5, 2025, in Harlingen, Texas. He was born in San Saba, Texas, on December 12, 1949, to the late J.A. “Jay” Johnson and the Mary Louise Wagner Johnson.
He attended Fort Worth College where he completed his studies in Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology. Troy then received his HVAC license. He later studied and received his real estate license.
He was a self-employed carpenter for 45 years before his retirement. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, going for walks on the beach, tubing, and shop ping flea markets.
Troy is preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Mary Louise Wagner. Left to cherish his memory are his children: Troy Don John son, Carol Johnson, and Vicki Alexander; grandchildren: Madison, Megan, Carol, Michelle, and Rachel; one great-grandchild, Macy; and close friend, Jimmy Bedwell.
