Storms blow through central Texas - and San Saba!

Check back Thursday for more storm/wind photos.

What was forecasted to be a “slight risk for storms” during the night Monday night turned out to be rain, hail, and strong winds - and that was before the “High Wind Warning” went into effect at 8 a.m. Tuesday morning.

During the day on Tuesday, west winds 30-40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph were expected for all of west central Texas which includes San Saba.

No matter what weather forecast you watched or heard, you were told to expect possible property damage, blown down trees and power lines, and difficult travel for high profile vehicles.

We were told to secure loose outdoor objects While assessing the damage early Tuesday morning, these photos were taken.

March Winds - yep, we already had them - with more to come.

April Showers... that would be great if we get those!

Bring Forth May Flowers can’t wait to see those after the cold weather we have had this winter!
