In other sports news, we are proud to announce that senior, Joel Valdez, has committed to play football at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. We have some student gearing up for track season and others preparing for the upcoming STAAR tests and EOCs. Those tests will begin in April and go through May. We also have a lot of student missing school lately. We know this is due to various reasons, illnesses being a major factor. While we understand this cannot be helped, it is important for students and parents to stay on top of the work they miss when they are gone. Sometimes it is possible for a teacher to give work ahead of time. Please reach out! Other times it might be appropriate for a teacher to just give it when the student returns to school. Either way, it is essential that the student complete their work in a timely manner and for the parent to follow up to ensure the work is getting turned in. Thank you for your help in this matter.
We hope everyone has a great (and healthy) week!
