Hello there, my beautiful San Saba loves, and I hope each of you had an amazing week! To say my week was normal would be like saying I woke up last Monday morning, looked in the mirror and had turned into a Doberman Pincher; yeah, so not!
It seems I attended college, and not only college, but law school! I was versed on something called The Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. Did I want to be, ask to be or go through matriculation and request it as a course of study? Um, NO! Such withstanding, due to our current experience with less than upstanding business owners here, the loss of $2,500 dollars, I was forced to hear how it was incumbent upon said business owner as a proprietor to inform all buyers of a need for a city permit, lot restrictions, and so forth. You guys should be so happy you do not live with such a knowledgeable rule follower. There is one thing I can say about mom, though. Even with all her knowledge and her legal lesson to me, she will just remain hurt by the whole ordeal than seek any legal remedy. She does not have to live with anyone’s heart but her own and mine… we are good to go!
This week I got to taste what might be the best things in the whole world for the first time… Sonic French fries and peanut butter! It is wonderful to discover simple things that make your heart feel as if they have discovered some magical secret it never knew! I have seen that look on mom’s face when she see’s a child surprised and full of wonder. I did not know how she could be so incredibly happy, but now I do! I want to thank Kathy Saucillo for taking us to Sonic, and if I never get another French fry again (they are terribly fattening), I will never forget the joy of their crunchy taste! As for peanut butter, mom bought a small jar so tasting it again is in my future!
Mom is a very friendly human; however, she is happiest reading, writing, painting, and of course, spending time loving and laughing with me. We are very unobtrusive beings, but if you need help will do all we can to be there for you, give what we have. All we have ever wanted, asked, is to simply and quietly allowed to be who and what we are and we with all our hearts would allow you the same courtesy. Here is hoping our next neighborhood will turn out just that way!
We love you dearest readers, and I shall now take off my college robes, go run the yard and yell how much I love each one of you!! Love, Lenny
