Sheriff's Call Log

January 20, 2025

• An officer advised over the radio that there were some goats near the roadway on Hwy 190 W at the San Saba River Bridge. There was a call a few days ago in the same area. Dispatch contacted the citizen to let her know they were out again.

January 21, 2025

• A person called and stated that their house on West Annex was on fire. Caller advised no one was inside, and there were no known injuries.

January 22, 2025

• A person called and advised that he had not heard from his father today. He called Onstar to advise of a possible missing/ stolen vehicle/person because he wanted to locate to see where the truck was. Onstar advised him that they could not give him the information without speaking to authorities. Father was in the area of CR 126 in San Saba. The son called the Sheriff's Office after he got off the phone with Onstar and when dispatch advised him of the address of where the truck was, he was satisfied and asked for us not to send anyone. An officer still went to the location but did not make contact person. The caller did advise that he would contact with a named individual in the morning to see if he could go and check on his father. If not he would call the Sheriff's Office.

January 23, 2025

• Sheep out again by the San Saba River Bridge and Hwy 190.

January 24, 2025

• Civil process was served on W. Sunset in San Saba.

• Received a call about an individual's sheep being out again near Hwy 190 and the San Saba river Bridge. She was notified and is going to put them back up.

January 25, 2025

• A person called from E. Commerce Street in Richland Springs stating that there were a couple of guys in his kitchen and that he is currently in his bedroom. The caller did not give description of the guys that were in his kitchen. The caller is known for mental health issues

• A welfare check was conducted on E. Commerce St. in Richland Springs.

January 26, 2025

• A person called from S. Comanche in Cherokee and stated that his ex girlfriend posted nude photos of him on social media. Caller stated that has deleted them and would like to press charges on her. The caller gave her name but stated she does not have a phone.

• A person stated there were goats out at Hwy 190 W near the San Saba River Bridge.

• About 15 sheep out on Hwy 190 at the San Saba River Bridge on the south side grazing.
