The Texas Girls Coaches Association selects All-State teams in cross country and volleyball. Athletes are nominated by member coaches, and the head varsity coach of the sport must be a member in good standing for athletes to be considered for honors. Athletes may be any grade classification, 9-12. Each conference may select up to 50 athletes for honors. Selections are made by the respective sport’s All-State Committee, comprised of member coaches selected by their peers for the committee position. There is no limit as to the number of athletes from a school that may be selected.
