Richland Springs Preservation Society

The Richland Springs Preservation Society executive board has secured a private loan in the amount of $30,000 that will enable us to begin renovations on the Richland Springs Burleson Bank Building as early as February 15th, 2025. In addition, we have applied for one grant, and are seeking others. These funds will go towards continuing the renovations. Members are encouraged to donate on a regular basis so we can cover the loan payment, as well as utilities and other regular expenses. Franky Soto Sr. will be head of the Renovation Committee, and anyone with construction experience who is interested in being part of the committee should let Franky know that they are willing to volunteer their time helping with the renovations. They can also sign up at the next meeting, January 20th.

We ended the year with a high note of donations for the month of December, totaling $5375. All donations made to the Preservation Society are tax deductible.

The RSPS will have their next regular meeting on January 20, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the Richland Springs Community Center. We will be discussing fundraising events for the upcoming year, starting with another potluck on Sunday, February 16th.
