Over the weekend our GT group led the Wreaths Across America ceremony at Cherokee Cemetery. This is our second year participating in the program which honors local veterans who have passed away. Last year we only received Wreaths Across America - in Cherokee By Kari Owen orders for 11 wreaths. This year we had 30 wreaths ordered. It is growing! We also had many more community members come for the ceremony and to help place wreaths. It was a really great day. Thank you to Mrs. Padgett for heading this up and to all the students who participated: Rein Hooten, Eddie Forehand, Mandi Fry, Phoebe Valdez, Brantley Shannon, Leilani Aguilar, Addie Merriman, Bentley Watson, Brylee Watson, Ariana Sharpe, Holdin Boswell, Chris Oakman, and Jaxon Owen.
