Last week was an exciting one with college and career day, Thanksgiving break kickoff, and our varsity football playoff game. We are so incredibly thankful for all the volunteers who came for college and career day. Our students learned a lot and had fun while they rotated around to different presenters. They asked great questions and had impeccable manners for that which we are all grateful. Cherokee kids are the best!
Our elementary GT group has been promoting the Wreaths Across America program for several weeks, and the orders are in! We will have the ceremony at 10 a.m. at Cherokee Cemetery on Saturday, December 14th. This is a moving ceremony in which our students lead in honor of our local veterans who have passed away. We encourage all community members to attend if possible.
