Last week, the Pre-K through 2nd graders went on a field trip to Sweet Berry Farm in Marble Falls. They painted pumpkins, planted corn, conquered the maze, and had an all-around great time!
Friday night, our junior high and varsity Indians took on Buckholts in a double header. Our junior high team was victorious with a score of 61-19. The varsity team ended the game at halftime with a score of 52-0 in favor of the Indians. They will travel to Calvert this Thursday in the last district game of the season.
This week, we have several events coming up. On Monday, the 11th, we will have our Veteran’s Day celebration. We will have a breakfast at 8 a.m. honoring our veterans. If you are a veteran that would like to attend or know someone that would, please RSVP to Regina Randolph at 325-248-4196. Following the breakfast, we will have a ceremony at 9 a.m. The entire community is welcome to attend.
On Tuesday, the 12th, we will have an elementary awards ceremony at 3:40 in the cafeteria. Parents are invited to attend. We will also have our annual Thanksgiving meal in the cafeteria on Thursday, the 14th. We would like to invite families and friends to come eat with their student that day.
Report cards went home this week. Please make sure to review that and discuss with your student. Praise them in the areas they are excelling in and set goals with them for the classes that are more difficult. Speak with the teacher about this and come up with some ideas together for how your student can improve.
