Why Republicans Should Vote Early
September is here, and the Election Season is in full bloom. We've had a 'coup' amongst Democrats, and Joe Biden is no longer running for re-election. Instead VP Kamala Harris is the candidate running against Donald Trump. Enthusiasm on the side of Democrats is reportedly very high and it is imperative that all GOP voters get out and vote this year to ensure that Texas Stays Red. It is also extremely important that GOP voters use the Early Voting period to cast their ballots. Why? Because if one waits until November 5th, something might come up that prevents you from getting to the polls. But Donald Trump will still carry Texas so my vote doesn't really matter, right? WRONG! While we expect that Donald Trump will easily beat Kamala Harris in Texas, it is the Down Ballot races that are critical to ensuring Texas Stays Red. Sen. Ted Cruz is in another dog fight against Colin Allred and recent polling shows the race tightening. We must return Ted Cruz to the US Senate and every vote will count. Not only this race, but our Texas Supreme Court has three Republican incumbents that we all must vote for…Jimmy Blacklock, John Devine and Jane Bland are strong conservative judges who deserve another term. Also, the Court of Criminal Appeals has three new Republican candidates that won their Primary races against three incumbents. David J. Schenck, Gina Parker and Lee Finley are 'rising superstars' that will bring conservative rulings back to the Court and strengthen election integrity. Railroad Commissioner Christi Craddick needs your vote to fend off her Democratic challenger to keep Texas' oil and gas industry strong and free from liberal attempts to shut it down. Further down the ballot, both Tom Maynard for State Board of Education, District 10 and David Spiller for State Representative, District 68 are proven conservatives and will need every GOP vote available. Early voting can be done in person at the County Courthouse, or by mail if you meet certain criteria. Please VOTE EARLY. It helps Republicans in Down Ballot races. It saves you time by not standing in line on Election Day. It makes sure your vote is in and counted. And vote for every Republican on the ballot…your vote does make a difference. Keep Texas Red.
