Dove Season is right around the corner. Our local Game Warden has been getting a lot of questions regarding dove season this year because it starts on a Sunday. Here's what he has to say:
"The 2024-2025 Dove Season for San Saba county and everyone in the north and central hunting zones will open on Sunday, September 1st, 2024. Since the dove season opener is on a Sunday, this means no dove hunting Saturday August 31st, 2024. For reference, here are a list of season dates for the 2024-2025 Hunting Season."
