Hill Country CattleWomen just had their best year yet!
The year concluded June 18th with an awards dinner at YO Resort in Kerrville, Texas.
Our most coveted award was for CattleWoman of the Year. The well deserving winner was Claire Honsalek from Comfort Oaks Ranch of Comfort, Texas. (Pictured to the right) The award for CattleWomen Behind the Scenes was awarded to two women, Teri Stone from Fredonia and Teresa Ganis from Doss. This dynamic duo were always on the scene, getting things done and attending to details. They were always willing to tackle any task.
Recognition was given to the women who have been members for 25+years. Honorary Memberships were given to Marsha Kothmann, Mason; Vickie Miller, Pontotoc; Carol Zesch, Mason; Bernice Jenschke, Fredericksburg; Helen Dockal, Mason; and Beverly Baker of Harper. Not pictured are Mary Jane Morrison, Boerne; Terry Wallace, Kerrville; Waldean Groff, Kerrville; and Joan Bushong, Mountain Home.
