Veteran-owned businesses and veterans seeking to start their own business are invited to the Central Texas Entrepreneurial Summit on July 23, 2024, in Lampasas. The Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) will be there to help with veteran-owned business certification and benefits, business development and employee recruitment.
The event will feature a panel discussion with entrepreneurs sharing start-up stories, plus a session on marketing, branding and sales. The TVC Entrepreneur Program will make a presentation on becoming a certified veteran-owned business, including the benefits of waived fees and taxes, plus the perks of veteran-owned business branding. Additionally, TVC Veteran Employment Services will be there to build partnerships with businesses and to increase employment opportunities for veterans.
The event is open to all entrepreneurs, veterans and civilians. It runs from 9 a.m. to noon and will be held in the Jack Calvert Municipal Building, 302 E. 3rd St. in Lampasas. Those interested may register at bit.ly/CenTex-biz-summit .
