The Garner-Alves Co. has decorated a window in honor of the Senior Class. The colors, purple and white are predominating and also the class motto: “Don’t Weaken” is displayed. This little courtesy to the Seniors is indeed very commendable.

Chicken thieves are getting very active and they do not only take a fryer or broiler and be satisfied with their work, but they swipe the entire roost of the feathery tribe, only the “setting hens” are exempt. The thieves have no respect for the registered fowls with bands on their legs, they take them too.

Uncle Dick Sullivan had a busy day last Sunday. In the morning he attended church and only went to sleep once during the service. Had a good dinner, and went down to Harmony Ridge and placed flowers on the graves of old friends, some of whom departed 35 years ago. Came home and read Indian and frontier stories the balance of the day. Did you make as good use of the Sabbath as Uncle Dick did?
