HOWDY from Bend, I hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day weekend. I got spoiled by my kiddos, and loved every minute of it. It’s nearing the end of the school year, and everyone is seeing lots of family around this time of year, for Mother’s Day and for graduations.
There seem to be a lot of weddings around this time of year as well. If I’m not mistaken, Jane and William Clark recently went to their niece’s wedding. Congrats to them on the new addition to their family.
Nancy (Clark) Hicks was blessed with visits from both of her children: Junior Hicks from Bastrop and Jacque Hicks from Arlington.
Grandkids of Patsy Henniger are doing better. Josh and Madison Henniger are both home from the hospital from their recent burn injuries and are healing nicely. Hopefully they will heal without any scars, praise God! Anthony Henniger just graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M University Central Texas, Magna Cum Laude! Congratulations, Anthony!
Jackie Brister just celebrated his 89th birthday! Happy Birthday to Jackie!
Clay Spivey reported that he and his folks, Warren and Sandra, are doing well. They received 3.5 inches of rain on Saturday. The creeks rose again, as did the river. This last week, there was enough rain to cover the roads from Bend to San Saba, Lometa, and Lampasas! WOW. Praise God for all whom blessings flow!
