The San Saba Commissioners met Monday, February 26, 2024. The April 8th Eclipse was discussed. Judge Fauley plans to issue a Declaration of Disaster for the Eclipse event period for the county.
Judge Fauley, along with the County Commissioners, have requested the Governor to issue a statewide Declaration of Disaster, but a response had not yet been received as of the date of this meeting.
Everyone was reminded of the Town Hall Meeting on March 4, 2024. Information on the Total Solar Eclipse will be given at the meeting. It will held at the Civic Center at 6 p.m., and the public is invited and encouraged to attend.
There was no change to the Burn Ban; it remains lifted at this time.
There were no Line-Item Transfers, and all bills were paid as presented.
The next Commissioners Court date is scheduled for March 11th at 9:00 a.m. The public is invited to attend.
