San Saba Rotary met Thursday, February 15, at noon in Pepperbelly’s. Buck Gilcrease, President presided over the business meeting which had twelve members present.
Committee reports included comments on the success of the recent Candidates Forum, the sale of T-Shirts for the April Solar Eclipse, the plan to collect trash on the highway for the twice yearly clean-up project on April 13, together with other local organizations and perhaps student volunteers, the Spring San Saba County Honor Students Banquet celebrating honor students from San Saba, Cherokee, and Richland Springs High Schools, and finally, meals for the weekly Rotary meetings held at Pepperbelly’s.
