The San Saba Rotary held their January 25th meeting at Pepperbelly's, Jacqueline Carlson presiding. There were 17 members present and two National Honor Society junior students from SSHS also present as honored guests, Aaliyah Patino and Cinzlea Stanton, both of whom are active in basketball and cheer. Both wish to attend Texas A & M, one to study biology and one to become a Physician’s Assistant.
Business included (1) moving the February 1st luncheon meeting to the community room of the Commercial National Bank and (2) the naming of co-signers for the Rotary checking account as required by Rotary guidelines.
Next week on February 1st, the Rotary guest speaker is coming from Austin, Marie Primm, who is a Capital Murder Prosecutor for the Texas Attorney General’s Office. Interested individuals are welcome as always!
