Students participate in San Saba Garden Club Art Contest

The San Saba Garden Club annually offers a contest for students in our area interested in writing poetry, creating sculptures from recycled materials, and showing their art skills in a poster contest promoting Smokey the Bear and Woodsy Owl.

This past month, San Saba Elementary School students participated in this contest with more than 50 entries. The top entries were submitted for Texas Garden Club District V contest to be held later this month. Winning entries will be passed on to the State Contest.
