The Richland Springs Cross Country girls competed in the Regional meet on Monday, October 23rd. The individual runners consisted of Rylie Eckert, Raegan Eckert and Kinzley Daly. It was a great day for competition with the weather being overcast and cool.
Rylie Eckert won the meet with a time of 12:03. This is a PR for her, and she was ahead of the rest of the participants by a good distance. She is the Region 3 1A Regional Champion and will be competing at the State meet in Round Rock on November 3rd at 10:10 a.m. Raegan and Kinzley both ran great at Regionals with Kinzley accomplishing her PR that day as well.
The previous week, the girls competed in District with Rylie placing 1st, Raegan 4th and Kinzley 9th.
