The San Saba Golden Armadillo Band has accepted an invitation to participate in a movie soundtrack workshop on the Disney Imagination Campus at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, in June 2024. We are excited to be given a chance to provide this incredible opportunity for our students. A trip of this magnitude however can only be made possible through support from our community. The high school band along with the band booster club will be fundraising throughout the year to help make this trip possible for our student musicians. We ask for your help so that we can allow for as many of our band members to have the opportunity to go. Many of our fundraiser platforms are donation based. Our first fundraiser will launch on Monday, July 24th. If we are able to make this trip happen, the GAB will get to experience what it is like to be a professional musician as they sight-read arrangements of Disney music and record a portion of an animated movie soundtrack. We appreciate and thank each and everyone of you for your generosity in helping us provide this opportunity for our students.
