MASON & SAN SABA Receipts totaled 1,947 head. Demand was very good with an active market this week even with the temperatures and heat index at high levels. The stocker steers sold $2-$4 lower after last weeks strong prices with 15 steers 524 lbs at $250.00 ($1310.00). The stocker heifers were $5-$6 higher. Feeder steers were $3 higher with 27 steers 723 lbs at $226.00 ($1633.98), and feeder heifers were $5-$6 higher with 4 heifers 663 lbs at $222.00 ($1471.86). Packer cows were steady, and bulls were $2-$3 higher. Pairs and bred cows were steady and in good demand.
