Original photograph found at San Saba Courthouse
Here are the news office, we have heard several comments from readers saying they really enjoy reading the Down Memory Lane articles in the paper.
Some of you may remember this picture of San Saba County's First School Bus in our June 11, 2020 edition - Down Memory Lane. In that Down Memory Lane article, the picture we printed was actually different from this one - it was inverted. We found out it was an inverted copy of the photograph when Flora found the original photograph (pictured above) at the courtouse last month, in early April.
In our Down Memory Lane article from June of 2020, we listed some of the names. But as you can see below, many times you see [unknown] or simply ? instead of names.
We are now on a mission, a quest, to fill in as many names as possible.
See if you recognize some of these mystery folks. Perhaps you have seen them in old family photo albums.
