The San Saba Elementary School has been chosen as a 2022-2023 Rising Star in its' first year of the implementation of the Capturing Kids' Hearts Process! This is the highest honor a first year Capturing Kids' Hearts school can receive. The Capturing Kids' Hearts Process includes the implementation of a character-based curriculum for students and equips professionals in K-12 education to implement transformational processes focused on social-emotional wellbeing, relationship- driven campus culture, and student connectedness. When the Capturing Kids’ Hearts Process is implemented with consistency, sustainable transformation can be seen, heard, and felt on campus. The Staff of San Saba Elementary is aiming for becoming a National Showcase School for Capturing Kids' Hearts. Capturing Kids’ Hearts National Showcase Schools are recognized for their excellence in creating safe and welcoming environments where students are relationally connected and eager to learn. Schools cannot become a National Showcase School during their first year of implementation of the processes. The San Saba Elementary School has received the highest honor they can receive with the Rising Star Recognition! Congratulations SSES Students and Staff!!
