It is finally open - the Stan Weik Memorial Splash Pad!
Even though the weather has not been the best for being outside playing in the water - except for rainwater, of course - many kiddos found breaks in the weather to go to Mill Pond Park and try out the new Splash Pad! The ones I spoke with yesterday, absolutely love it!
For now, it has a huge tower that splashes water from two places, and there are many places where water shoots up out of the ground. Perfect for those hot days. And we all know they are coming up; they are already here!
Next Tuesday, join City Manager Scott Edmonson and many others for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of the Stan Weik Memorial Splash Pad. Don't forget - Tuesday morning, 10:00 a.m. at the Splash Pad!
