As we welcome 2025, San Saba County Friends of Animals is reaching out to our wonderful community with open hearts. Our shelter family is growing, and we're looking for caring individuals and families to open their homes as foster parents to our adorable cats and dogs.
The joy of fostering is truly special. Our foster families often tell us it's one of the most rewarding experiences they've had. You'll help prepare these loving animals for their forever homes while enjoying the companionship and unconditional love they bring to your life.
As a foster parent, you'll receive everything you need to succeed:
- Complete veterinary care and vaccinations
- All necessary supplies
- Expert guidance and support
- Access to our experienced animal care team
- A network of fellow foster families
Never fostered before? No worries! We provide full training and ongoing support. Even a few weeks of fostering makes an incredible difference in an animal's life, helping them learn to trust and love in a home environment.
Our foster program is flexible and works with your schedule. Whether you can foster for a few weeks or a few months, every helping hand makes a difference in creating happy endings for our furry friends.
