What a marvelous week we have had here in Texas.We’ve had two celestial events. Thanks to a super solar flare, we were able to watch the Aurora Borealis dance across our skies. Then Sunday night, just after sunset, a comet made its way across our western sky.

Receipts totaled 5,481 head. The market was very active this week with good demand. The stocker steers were $4-$6 higher with 2 steers 443 lbs at $332.00 ($1470.76) and 2 steers 503 lbs at $307.50 ($1546.72). The stocker heifers were $2-$7 higher.
