Hello there, my sweet San Saba friends, and how are you? I missed you last week. And I am not quite sure what happened because I wasn’t absent, and yet I was! I wrote my article as usual, sent it in, and yet pulled a disappearing act in the paper. Who knows, perhaps I will appear this week.

San Saba Lodge to meet Saturday

On Saturday, June 6th, San Saba Masonic Lodge No. 612 will meet for the election of officers only. Due to the directives of the state government and the Grand Lodge of Texas, there will be no meals or refreshments served. Lodge will open at 7:00 p.m.

Hamilton EMS expansion of services in San Saba County

Hamilton Healthcare System is pleased to announce their recent partnership for emergency medical services in San Saba County, effective August 1, 2020. Hamilton EMS will operate two ambulances and an EMS District Supervisor stationed in San Saba, Texas.

Receipts totaled 1,949 head. The market started steady at the beginning of the week and got stronger as the week progressed. Stocker steers were $3-$5 higher with 35 steers 507 lbs $147.00 ($745.29) and 31 steers 572 lbs at $140.00 ($800.80). Stocker heifers were $3-$5 higher.
