City of San Saba’s retiring Police Chief - Ray Riggs

Celebration Retirement Party to be held for Police Chief Ray Riggs

The City of San Saba will host a Celebration Retirement Party for Chief Ray Riggs on Wednesday, July 28th, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Chief Ray Riggs has been a dedicated and loyal employee of the City of San Saba Police Department for 33 years.

Commissioners’ Court holds regular meeting, July 14th

The San Saba Commissioners’ Court met for a regular meeting on Wednesday, July 14th, in the Commissioners’ Courtroom. Judge Byron Theodosis called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. Commissioner Kenley Kroll gave the invocation and led everyone in the pledges to the American flag and the Texas flag.

Oh-Fishially in Trouble Galveston County game wardens received a call about two individuals who were catching sheepshead fish with a net and keeping over their bag limit. The wardens saw two over-flowing coolers with fish.
