Receipts totaled 2,923 head. A very good offering of cattle were sold this week with good demand and strong buyer activity. The stocker steers sold $3-$5 higher with 6 steers 437 lbs at $186.00 ($812.82) and 6 steers 591 lbs at $156.00 ($921.96). The stocker heifers were $2-$3 higher.

Good Grief

Charlie Brown was often chastised by Lucy. One of her favorite sayings to him was, “Good grief, Charlie Brown!” Although I’m not sure what Lucy meant, the term “good grief” does stir thoughts as to how a Christian grieves well in a time of loss.

On Monday, October 11th, MidCoast Central Medical Center in Llano officially opened their MidCoast WellCare clinic in San Saba, located at 408 W. Wallace (across from Everett’s Pharmacy). The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Primary care is provided for all ages!
