Postage rates change July 10th

Postage rates will rise again on July 10. Periodicals published the week of July 11 will see rates rise between 7 and 10 percent, depending upon destinations, mail preparation and rate categories. First class stamps will become 60 cents for the first ounce and 57 cents for the second ounce.

Receipts totaled 3,606 head. Demand was very good this week on all classes of cattle. The stocker steers sold steady with 22 steers 426 lbs at $207.00 ($881.82) and 12 steers 565 lbs at $185.00 ($1045.25). Stocker heifers were $2-$3 higher.
