I am not saying I have all the answers, but one thing I am seeing is that we have several generations that have left God and church attendance out of their lives.
It seems the modern philosophy is just to have material wealth and a secular education, and that is all you need. God has been forgotten and left out. We are seeing the results of that, and it is not pretty.
A heartbreak is where most of the institutions of higher learning are today and what they are or are not teaching.
We are even seeing it at the highest levels in our Government and even the Supreme Court. They can’t even tell you what is male or female and now have new names for certain genders classifications they have created.
Now some political groups are saying they don’t want God mentioned or any praying asking for God's help.
We have a major national heart or sin problem, and only turning back to God will cure it. Romans 1:18-32 really describes it. There needs to be people turning back to God.
Genesis 6:5-6 The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord regretted that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart.
There needs to be true repentance from sin and turning to Jesus Christ for salvation.
Matthew 1:21 She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.
Matthew 9:6 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he then said to the paralytic—“Rise, pick up your bed and go home.”
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
God promises to help in His Holy Word, the Bible that He will, but now it is up to us.
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Deuteronomy 30:2, 8 ... and return to the Lord your God, you and your children, and obey his voice in all that I command you today, with all your heart and with all your soul,... And you shall again obey the voice of the Lord and keep all his commandments that I command you today.
